The Schiedel Isokern 1200 Garden Fireplace is the largest in the Isokern outdoor fireplace range, offering a dramatic focal point for spacious gardens, large patios, or outdoor entertaining areas. Constructed from natural volcanic pumice sourced from Iceland, this fireplace delivers exceptional insulation—keeping the inner chamber blazing while the outer surface remains cool to the touch.

Delivered as a complete modular kit, it includes chimney blocks, lip glue, firebricks, firebrick mortar, render, and a free log retainer. Optional extras include a barbecue grill, rain cap or wave top terminal, additional chimney blocks, and a matching log storage unit that fits seamlessly beneath or beside the fire.

This fireplace can be built freestanding, attached to a wall, or set on a raised plinth - offering flexible installation to suit your layout. Assembly is straightforward thanks to the lightweight components and detailed instructions, though a robust foundation is essential; Schiedel recommends a minimum 100 mm reinforced concrete slab.

With a vast firebox opening and substantial mass, the 1200 model is designed to generate and retain significant heat, making it ideal for chilly evenings.
