The ScandiFlames AquaFire Base 60 Water Vapour Fireplace Insert with Logs is a freestanding water vapour insert that uses Opti-myst technology and LED light to bring flame effects to an existing fireplace, creating a soft, realistic flame from water mist and light, so you can enjoy the look of a fire again with no smoke, soot or chimney sweeping.

It measures 55.4 x 31.5 x 20.9cm (W x H x D) and weighs 10kg, and is made from plastic and steel with a black finish. Its 1.3-litre water tank provides up to 8 hours of flame effect per fill, using around 0.16 litres of water an hour. It runs from a standard mains supply and draws around 125W. Supplied with Dimplex Cassette 400/600 Opti-myst burner, cassette 600 decorative wood, remote control and manual.

The flame effect gives off no heat, which makes it a particularly good choice for homes with children and pets. It's a simple, safe way to make your fireplace the heart of the room again.
