The Saltfire ST-X8 Tall brings the same ultra-clean burning performance as the standard ST-X8, with the added advantage of a built-in log-store base. With an 8kW nominal output, this version is ideal for medium to large living areas.

Its after-burner clean-burn system ensures efficient combustion, reinvigorating unburned gases and reducing emissions. Despite the taller profile, the ST-X8 Tall retains a striking portrait viewing window framed with thermo-ceramic glass, complemented by an effective air-wash system to help keep the glass clear.

The stove supports wood and approved smokeless coal via its multi-fuel grate, and offers interchangeable 5″ (125mm) flue outlets at the top and rear, allowing for flexible installation in a variety of configurations.

Thanks to its EcoDesign-ready design and DEFRA exemption, this model meets modern emissions regulations while delivering strong heating performance.

Maintenance is simplified with a removable baffle plate for flue access and a convenient ash-pan for cleanup.
