The Saltfire ST-X Wide (wood-burning) is a beautifully designed Ecodesign-ready stove, offering large views of the fire from its wide firebox.

With a nominal heat output of 5kW, it is ideal for small to medium-sized rooms. The stove is built from precision-welded steel with a cast-iron door and is lined with firebricks to retain and radiate heat efficiently.

One of the best features of this model is its slim depth (291mm), making it well suited for installation in shallow fireplaces or even freestanding against a wall.

Its large viewing window offers an expansive view of the flames, enhanced by an air-wash system that helps keep the glass clear from soot buildup.

The stove also features a clean-burn “after-burner” system, which re-ignites unburnt gases to maximise efficiency and reduce emissions.

As part of its environmental credentials, the ST-X Wide is EcoDesign ready and DEFRA exempt, making it compliant for installations in UK smoke-control areas.

The ST-X Wide supports both top and rear 125mm (5″) flue outlets, offering flexibility in installation. It also supports long logs thanks to its generous firebox (up to 400mm in length).
