The Saltfire ST-X Wide Tall Wood-Burning Stove offers the same widescreen firebox and elevated design as the multi-fuel version, but is dedicated to burning wood only.

With a 5kW nominal output, it’s tailored for rooms that benefit from efficient, clean wood heat. Its tall frame and integrated log store base raise the stove by 224mm, giving it a commanding presence and built-in fuel storage beneath the combustion chamber.

Despite its height, the depth is slim at just 291mm, making installation possible even in tighter or shallow fireplace openings.

The large wide firebox supports long logs (up to 17″), and the air-wash system helps keep the large viewing window clean so the flame is front and centre.

Like its multi-fuel sibling, the ST-X Wide Tall wood version uses after-burner technology to boost heat production and reduce emissions, making it EcoDesign 2022 ready. It’s also DEFRA exempt, so it can be used in UK smoke-control areas.

Controls are intuitive and simple, and maintenance is straightforward thanks to a removable baffle. A rear heat-shield helps minimise clearance to combustible materials, and the dual 5″ flue outlets (top or rear) provide flexible installation.
