The Saltfire Scout Tall brings the same compact power and clean combustion of the standard Scout, but elevated on a built-in high base to bring the firebox to a more comfortable height. With a nominal output of 4.1kW, it’s an excellent choice for small rooms or tight spaces.

A key smart feature is its pre-fitted heat shields (both rear and bottom) allowing very low clearances to combustible walls. This makes the Tall variation very flexible in installation. 

The firebox is lined with fire-brick and is capable of burning both wood and approved smokeless fuel.

Like the standard Scout, the Tall version includes a clean-burn after-burner system for efficient combustion, and an advanced air-wash system to keep the glass clean and maintain a crisp flame view. It is also EcoDesign 2022 ready and DEFRA exempt, keeping it in line with modern emissions standards.

The stove supports both top and rear 5″ (125mm) flue outlets, giving flexibility in installation.

For ease of cleaning, there’s a removable baffle for flue access and a lift-out ash pan. Controls are intuitive, making it very usable for everyday heating.

Saltfire backs the Scout Tall with a 1 year warranty that can be extended up to 5 years with registration, giving you confidence in its long-term reliability.
