The Saltfire CS5 Inset is a sleek and space-efficient cassette-style stove designed to fit neatly into a standard UK fireplace opening, or to be built in higher on a wall for a contemporary look.

With a 5kW nominal output and a modest operating range of 2–5kW, it delivers reliable heat for small to medium rooms without overwhelming the space.

Despite its compact form factor, the CS5 doesn’t compromise on efficiency or environmental performance - it boasts an 82.2% efficiency rating, is EcoDesign 2022 ready, and is DEFRA-exempt, making it suitable for smoke-control areas.

Built from a robust steel body and lined with fire-bricks, the stove offers durability and great heat retention. The large ceramic-glass viewing window provides a clear, wide view of the flames, while the air-wash system helps to keep the glass clean.

Functionally, the CS5 supports both wood logs and approved smokeless coal, thanks to its multi-fuel grate. Ash falls through the grate into a removable ash pan for easy clean-up. It also has optional Direct Air compatibility, which can draw combustion air from outside.

Both top and rear flue outlet options (125mm / 5″) make installation flexible, depending on your chimney configuration.
