Its design is focused on delivering clean, eco-conscious heat, making it ideal for homes looking to maximise performance while minimising emissions.
With a nominal heat output of 6.7kW, the Alderwood can effectively warm medium to large spaces. It’s Eco-Design 2022 ready, which means it meets stringent modern emissions standards. The stove supports multi-fuel operation, meaning it can burn both seasoned wood and approved smokeless coal, giving you flexibility in fuel choice.
To support clean combustion, the Alderwood uses a tertiary air (clean-burn) system, allowing hot air to enter high in the firebox to re-ignite unburned gases. This improves efficiency and reduces particulate emissions. In addition, it has an air-wash system that keeps the front glass cleaner by directing air over the surface.
The Alderwood Eco is also external-air compatible, meaning it can draw combustion air from outside rather than the room - a useful feature for modern, tightly sealed homes. Its flue outlet is 125mm (5″), and it offers installation flexibility with both top and rear flue options.
