Most electric pizza ovens make a compromise somewhere - usually temperature, usually results. The EP01 doesn't. Dual heating elements above and below the cooking chamber push temperatures to 400°C, which is the number that matters when you're after a proper stone-baked base with a charred, blistered top. Neapolitan-style pizza in 90 seconds, at home, on your countertop.

The square cordierite stone sits at the heart of it - 325x325mm of heat-retaining mass that absorbs and radiates evenly, so the base cooks as fast as the top and you don't end up with a soggy middle. The adjustable thermostat gives you precise control over the whole range, whether you're running it flat out for pizza or dialling back for something that needs a gentler touch. The removable stainless steel door makes loading and checking straightforward, and the cold-rolled carbon steel shell with high-temperature powder coat means it looks sharp and handles the heat without complaint.

When you're done, the retractable aluminium legs fold flat and the whole unit packs down to 175mm deep - thin enough to slide into a cabinet and forget about until next time. Die-cast aluminium feet with locking rubber pads keep it planted while it's in use. This is a serious piece of kit that happens to be easy to live with.
