The Polar Cyclone is a wooden ice bath that's as good to look at as it is to use. It's a handcrafted barrel of Finnish Thermowood that lets you take the cold plunge outdoors all year round, without the clinical look of a plastic tub. Climb the wooden steps, lower yourself in and let the cold wake you up. Whether it stands beside a sauna or on its own, it turns a corner of the garden into a proper recovery space.

Externally the Cyclone measures 100cm across and 100cm high, with a generous 90cm internal diameter and 90cm internal height. Thick foam insulation helps hold the temperature, an internal LED light adds a soft glow to early-morning and evening plunges, and the 3.5 inch insulated all-weather lid keeps the water clean and cold between sessions. It's suitable for indoor or outdoor use, takes a 220-240V AC supply and arrives for self-assembly. Filling or draining with a hose takes about 10 minutes, and re-treating the timber every six months will keep it looking its best.

Choose the Black or Wood finish to suit your garden, then pick how you'd like to keep it cold. Bath Only includes the steps, LED light and insulated lid. The Mini Chiller package is ideal for personal use: it keeps the water at a steady 3°C and comes with the pipework and pipe insulation. The Commercial Chiller package is built for continuous use, cools to 3°C and can also heat the water. Two chiller valves are built into the tub, so connecting a wooden ice bath with chiller is simple.

Key Features of the Polar Cyclone Wooden Ice Bath

Handcrafted Finnish Thermowood - weather-resistant timber barrel for indoor or outdoor use

Generous interior - 90cm internal diameter and 90cm internal height

Thick foam insulation - helps the water hold its temperature

Internal LED light - for atmospheric early-morning and evening plunges

3.5 inch insulated all-weather lid - keeps the water clean and cold between sessions

Wooden steps included - for easy access in and out

Chiller ready - two built-in chiller valves for the Mini or Commercial Chiller

Easy drainage system - fill or drain with a hose in around 10 minutes

Black or Wood finish - to suit your garden

1-year warranty

Polar Cyclone Wooden Ice Bath Specifications

Specification

Detail

Brand

Polar Recovery

Model

Cyclone Ice Bath

External Dimensions

100cm diameter x 100cm height

Internal Dimensions

90cm diameter x 90cm height

Material

Finnish Thermowood

Insulation

Thick foam insulation

Lid

3.5 inch thick insulated all-weather lid

Lighting

1 x internal LED light

Chiller Connections

2 x chiller valves

Drainage

Easy drainage system

Power

220-240V AC

Use

Indoor or outdoor

Shipping Weight

60kg

Assembly

Self-assembly required

Finish Options

Black or Wood

Included

Wooden steps, internal LED light, insulated lid

Option: Bath Only

Ice bath without chiller

Option: With Mini Chiller

Cools water consistently to 3°C;
