Air inlets at the base feed the fire from below - quick to catch, consistent once burning. The same holes handle rainwater drainage so the bowl is never waterlogged. Ash clears out easily after each session. The Jack 100 is built around the principle of longevity: weather it stays outside permanently, and it'll take decades of abuse without complaint.
