Azure Fully Retractable Medium High Pool Enclosure

• Greenhouse Effect: as the panels are polycarbonate, the enclosed area will be heated from UV rays, similar to how a greenhouse works. Although the winter is colder with less sun, there are still UV rays that will add to this.

• Wind Blocker: a large part of a pool’s heat retention comes from preventing the warmer evaporating water from escaping. When exposed to wind, the evaporation escapes almost immediately. An enclosure prevents this.

• Dirt & Debris: when the enclosure is covering the pool, you won’t need to clean it of dirt and debris as it won’t be able to enter.

• Less Chemicals Required: following on from the point above, the water will be kept cleaner using an enclosure, and in turn, you won’t need to treat the water with so many chemicals.

• Child & Pet Safety: as the enclosure can be locked in place, this will prevent any children or pets from accidentally falling into the water.

• Long Term Investment: an enclosure is once and done, whereas thermal covers will need to be replaced every 3-5 years. However, having said that, we recommend using both for optimal thermal efficiency.

At DIY Garden Homes, we sort the entire process of installing your pool enclosure for you. The following steps outline the typical installation process from delivery to final checks.

Step 1: Your enclosure will arrive on an agreed date in a large truck which will have been packed and driven by our expert team. As this isn't outsourced, we have full control over the process and very rarely see any damages in transit.

Step 2: We will have agreed on the track length with any customisations during the planning phase (customisations include things like removable track sections for skimmers). We will bring that from the to the site to be installed, whatever the weather.

Step 3: Each telescopic segment will arrive prefabricated with protective film and cushioning. We will arrange for plenty of people to come and help carry each piece to the pool for it to slot onto the tracks.

Step 4: Once all segments have been locked onto the tracks, there will be a few final pieces to add before it's ready to go. Our team will check over the enclosure with extreme care to make sure there are no issues.

Step 5: We will walk around the enclosure and show you how it all works before leaving you to get on with your swimming. If there are any issues, then we will usually be able to resolve them for you there and then. Once you're happy with everything, you will get 3 keys to the enclosure, where you can lock the door(s), segments, and any bespoke parts.

Panels:

Each panel comes with a locking mechanism installed into each segment and the tracks. To lock/unlock each segment into place is as easy as sliding the lever up and down. 

Doors:

Our enclosures come with a sliding side door as standard. This comes with a button on the handle that can be pushed in using the key to lock. To unlock, twist the key the other way, and the button will pop back out.
